Lost Paradise

It was a sad day in Nest. Everyone were seen doing something to forget it.. It was a day when everyone in the nest came to know that, the nest's most important person,logic had to go back to india.. unavoidable situation. pogaadhey apdinu manasu solludhu.. aana when it comes out of mouth, it comes as "poittu vaa daa".. didnt know what was happening to everyone..

It was sort of emergency for logic. he had to go. He couldnt stay longer in the nest. two days there was an uneasy feeling in the air. we didnt want to cook. we didnt want to eat etc etc. we were feeling, we were being deprived of our joy.. we felt our unity was broken. we felt someone crashed our nest. but everyone kept it to their heart.. they wished logic all the best.

day came, when logic had to leave next day. little bit of shopping here n there and packaging were all done.for dinner we had our thalai and nothing but girl coming in and cheering rajan and us..we didnt sleep for a long time that night..

Next day, most of us were in the airport.. everyone couldnt control the emotions at that moment when he had to leave.. he checks his baggages in.. chitap gives a big hug and becomes emotional.. as was others.. we all are still looking at him.. he goes for security check... he turns back again and again to see us.. and we arent moving.. we kept waving our hands till the minutest of his image was visible. One could feel the nostalgic feeling that was sorrounding us all.. we felt someone kalaichified our nest... we thought our titanic friend"ship" was sinking

we all came to office and felt some emptiness sorrounding us. we could hear logic's voice in the air.the phone calls reminded him. every mail reminded him.. we all felt the real value of this relationship that day.. it cannot be expressed in words..

now logic is back to the nest. we are one again..

will write the return of the "monster" and arrival of "biddu" in the next blog..

Ma.... Ma.. Magudi

Magudi.. one of important personalities in the nest. personality-nnu solradharku badhil, periya dakalti-nu sollalaam... avvalo periya kedi avan..

M for magudi mattum illai. M stands for mystery as well. yes his life is a mystery and only he knows abt it... avan ethana ponnungalukku application pottaan.. ethanai ponnunga ivanukku application pottaaanga apdinu ellam yosipom... but matter of the fact is magudi romba nallavan.. avan yaarukum application pottadhum illai. avanukku yaarum application pottaadhum illai..

Magudi is a very good person at heart. avan nest-la panra ovvoru matter-um will be different from what others do..

his volley ball serves will be like shane warne balls. u will not know which side it will turn. nalla server.. but enna solla solla ketkaama he will try overarm serves and will end smashing the ball to 494 exit ;-)..

konjum somberi from my view.. friday evening mattum oru kaariyathula erangittaaana avan minjaa yaarum kedayaaadhu. nest-la irukkuravangullu indha line kandippa puriyum..

great to have him as roommate. sonna pecha kettupaaan. will help during cooking very much..

The Rising of Eight for Mangal Pandey

Mangal Pandey. I didnt know this was going to be one of the movie that is going to remain in our thoughts ever. Because it was the first movie where all eight of us went together out for the first time in US.

I could still remember the anxiety and enthusiasm prevailing in the nest that whole week.. We had been listening to yet another great music of ARR and we were simply enthralled and were waiting to watch the movie.

The night before we went for the movie, (was a thursday), we rehearsed our dance movements for all the songs.. we had a hip hop for Takkae Takkae.. for mangal mangal, it was traditional dance.. hmm yes, we rehearsed atleast till 1.00 in the night.. we were ready to dance in the theatres that day..

Next day started with a little fight among ourselves regarding the travel plans to the theatre. we didnt have our queen that time hence had to rely on some others to come. So logic had to break his head and find the commutation for all eight.. we managed to get ride in three cars finally.

when we reached there, we were amazed to see the crowd there. it was like India frankly.. such a big queue.. we went into the theatre and settled down after 1/2 hr atleast...

Titles were going and our gang roared when we saw AR Rahman on the screen.. the movie started off with a flashback and the movie set a different environment. we couldnt get up and dance.. the crowd was so silent unlikely of an indian crowd.. the movie environment was so different and we couldnt dance at all.. we kept tapping our foot in the thoughts of dance we rehearsed the previous day for all the songs...

It is always a great experience to go to movies with friends. but for nest this movie was so unforgettable..

Rally to Volley

Volley. Enakku therinja orae vaali bathroom-la irukkura vaali thaan till last summer. but last summer, it was when i came to know how to play the game of volley.

Yes.. volley was the premier game preferred by all in nest in the summer..

every week, everyday, every evening, every hour we played volleyball during the summer. it was fun to the maximum.. there was small small fights, small small clashes, small small wins which we all enjoyed very much...

We form a team of 4 a side. sometimes it will be 5 per side.. even DRL and Nothing But Butter girl used to join the game of volley. Every rally willbe well appreciated. every drop will be cheered.. every mishit would be taken positively...

Meez was known for his volley. magudi got his name becos of the way he serves.. logic was a great spiker.. Chitap was a great defender... Baai was a great setter.. Mr Perfect was perfect in his drops and Mr.T the greatest player of the entire nest.

Me.. Meez.. magudi.. was a famous team and the way they dance after every win was jus perfect bangra. a dance for every happy moment..

the battle of titans namely 210 vs 211 was ultimate. The dialogue "Though 211 won the series, 210 won the hearts of everyone." was unforgettable.

weekend we go in search of great places and lakes to reliquish our vollying capabilities. we got so addicted to volley that we even played day and night matches when lights wasnt enough.

Mr.T's famous "its not mine" still lingers in all our thought.. his robot like movements will surely impress any top class volley ball players around the world.. ;-) (kodumai thaanga mudiyalaa daa apdinu kaathaadheenga makkalae)

Mr.Perfect even broke his glasses and got a cut on his face during a game.. Though this incident shell shocked the nest, we were back to normal the next day...

Baai almost played with one leg for sometimes initially..

so many unforgettable moments. such a beautiful time in our lives.. we are so thankful to god for giving us such a nice time..

One blog isnt enuf to tell all the fun.. this is just a start.. i am sure more blogs are to come regarding volley...

Colonial Machans

"Colonial machans".. nest-la ellarum bayapadura two deadly words. rendu dhadi pasanga colonial machans , colonial sochons, colonial bachaans apdinu sollitu blade poduvaanga paarunga.. kaadhula then payudho illayo kandippaa kaadhulaa edho sooodaa kaachi oothunaa madhiri oru feeling irukkum..

whenever colonial machans have kacheri, I ask Logic "why blood" and he will reply saying "Same blood" ;-)

DRL - Eight was sometimes sixteen

Well, people, DRL is a very important person in the nest..

Enge gang ku oru color...oru figure...ille peria geometrical figure... enga group kootama irukkunu ellarum sonnaanga nnaa adhukku main reason iva thaan.

Ava veetuku vandhaa total environment-um change aagum nest-la.. every one will start behaving sensibily suddenly... dont think, environment changes because of her. because ella insensible things-um panna ava iruppaa ;-)

Fondly called Kulavilakku in our circle, she is well known for fighting with chittap.. one day if she doesnt find a reason to fight. she will fight saying "yen inniki fight pannala nee".....

Sometimes ava kai-la oru phone-oda porandhaala nnu oru thought varum.. avvalo neram phone-la kadhaippaaanga...

samayal kuluvil oru mukkiyaaamaana oru person.. Saturday and sunday naanga volley ball romba neram aaduradhukku main reason ivanga thaan... kalaila vandhu thaniyaa paatu kettutae engallukku samachi vaippaa.. avaloda roommates rendu per irundhaanga. ricksaw kaari and sandai kozhi.. thank god they were like that. she spent lots of time here at the nest...

Chittap vaasika DRL paada veedae konjum adhirum.. ;-) avalo super-a kacheri nadakkum paarunga... avan avan vizhundu adichi oduvaanungaaa... adhae madhiri, thaniya paduraen-ra per vazhi-la oru periya rambam poduvaaa paarunga... yeppa semma rap paa nnu kathanum pola irukkum...

ovvoru thadavayum naan idha saapda maataen adha saapda maataen nnu dialogue viduvaanga.. aana eppavum nest-la semma kattu katradhu ivanga thaan...

well.. ippo drl us-la illai.. she has flown away from the nest in search of her life.. avanga india poittu sondha vaazhkai-la irukkura neraya prechanai-gala sari panna oru periya porraaatam nadadhittu irukkaanga. all the best from nest.. nest-la first kalyaanam aanavanga apdi-nu onnoda pugal ettu thikkum paravatumm.

Unrest in the Nest

"Hey dear..u r simply irresstible..hmm..been watching you everyday...dont know your name..but you looked damn attractive in the "NewYork" T -Shirt..hmm..hmmm..ok..i feel like doing it with you....u have seen me many times..lets do it..but before that i want to know something abt u..can u email me few lines about u to lovergirl@mylove.com and i swear i wont change my mind reading the email..waiting for u r email darling"...

Mr Meez kept the handset after hearing this voice message..slithered on to the couch..his mind rapidly instantiated casts and started the trial
"Is that me "..
"Nayyyy boss.."
"Y cant ..i always wear that T-Shirt always.. and smart in the group".."cha cha ilaa"...
"illa da ni than mail pannu common".....

And before even Meez could finish the mind trial...he heard a loud terrible noise...

"Aasaya kathula thothu vitu..ching chakku chakku ching....."
...Mr Chittappa arrived in.."Hey Meez mama...Coffe podra..."...went straight to the handset..and checked for voice message..and chitappa was..

"dai yara ithu Meezzuu..." and looked back Meez was not there..
then Chitappa ran changed in to his favourite costume...the ultimate single piece (towel)...u wont believe ppl admire him in that costume...

and chitapa barged into the bathroom and was in full thought about lover girl...

"Yeah eppadara irukaaaa.."came in Mr.T...went to the receiver..and heard the voice message...Mr.T started to sweat...Mr.T strongly believed the message is for him only..and thought for a moment

"Can i do it.."
"Is this right..do i need to consult this with offshore.." and he was in deep confusion as he will always, but this message is too much more than his confusion quotient.He sat in the sofa...

"Dai its weekend folks..." breaked in a voice..its from another interesting character in the NEST..Mr.Bhai....saw Mr.T in the sofa..he was all blurred..he was looking as if he failed in his task of making a sad monkey happy....and Mr.Bhai took the receiver and heard the message..

Thud...

Huge noise Bhai turned and he saw yet another downfall of Mr.T from the swinging sofa..but his time Bhai did not giggle..this doesnt mean that he is used to Mr.T's downfall..its the message that disturbed him...he went in silently..but in deep of his mind he started to compose the email...

"kadlinakara ponaorai kanna ponninum ponara"..smell of kerala...Mr.Perfect....after a real hard days work he entered i. ..Mr.Meez said to Perfect..."u look good with u r mush..".."thanx"..Mr.Perfects all time passsion was to build loads and loads of interfaces to his client...
he went and picked up the handset..heard the message..and said "ppl i going to sleep"..he went in and started to compose the email...he did not sleep this time..and he started to build an interface between him and the lover girl..

Ppl heard huge foot steps noise...Its Mr.Magudi..came in directly went to the phone and checked for the voice message..heard it some 18 times repeatedly..and then thought he would delete it so that no one will hear..and DELETED it....You may think he is cunning..but he is not..he is innocently cunning..now he dont know wat to do
"go to gym..".."go to car drive practice"..."type the email"...Magudi a character who had always known his priority in life..choose to compose the email..

Everyone was sitin in the hall..and Mr.Chittapa started playing the Keyboard..there was full romance numbers going on..

then Mr.Bhai said "dai Where is Mr.biddu.." oh man they forgot Mr bidu...they called all the known numbers to trace him..nope was the reply...
They marched to office and searched everywhere and started worrying
Then Mr.Perfect heard a door being banged with full force..and opened and found Biddu in there..he got in trapped there..but no one knew y he went in there..
They returned home..

Had dinner..there was an unusual silence that night...every one in full thought of the lovergirl..

Biddu was all confused..y ppl turned barbaric..

Phone rang...everyone rushed at the same time to pick it up..every one stopped near it and looked in to each others face..
tring..tring..tring.. it was ringing...

Magudi wisely said "ok no quarrels lets put it in speaker.."
and the group unanimously accpeted this coruscating thought...of all Mr.T nooded heavily..Mr.Bhai said.."It should be for me dudes.."
And Meez already started to dream...

and chittapa pushed the speaker button..

"Hello.." said he...

"Hello.." replied the machine but in sweet female tone...and they could sense the sexual desire she had...she was desperate to do it...

"ya .." said chittapa..

"Can i ...haann..can i...speak to smarty Biddu..."

"Yes but...Who is this.."..rushed in Biddu...

"Lovergirl" was the reply...

There was a Dead silence in the group...and suddenly Magudi started to thump Mr.T and ..

the nest was full of Chaos and Unrest....
